Summary: We enjoyed 6 nights here while in Grenada for the Australia V West Indies cricket test. The location is perfect...you literally step right onto the beach where you can enjoy glorious sunsets. There is a supermarket across the road, and you are within walking distance of some great restaurants such as Umbrellas and Flavours 473. There is a local bus stop at the entrance which was perfect for getting into St George's to explore the town; and walking from the terminal to the cricket stadium takes less than 10 minutes. The local 'buses' / white vans cost $2.50 ECDpp. However, the service at the bar near the beach is extremely slow! Hence why we ate elsewhere most nights. The rooms are dated but we were out all day it didn't really worry us. There is only a VERY small fridge (without freezer) in the room; and there is no guest laundry other than the paid laundry service. There were no coffee pods in the room to be able to use the coffee machine (despite requesting them they never arrived). We had to request milk - and all that we were given was hazelnut milk capsules (yuck!). We had issues with the sink blocking, the bathroom door not closing, one day not getting any towels - yet they did fix these when requested. Reception service was very slow, and they did not apply my 10% food and beverage discount despite being told on check-in that it would be applied on departure.
